Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information I collect when you use this site or submit a booking request, how I use it, and the choices you have. Michael Ng is an independent travel advisor operating within the Fora Travel host agency network.

Information you give me

When you submit a booking request or enquiry, I collect the details you provide: your name, email address, the hotel or destination and dates you're interested in, your preferred room type, and any special requests or preferences you choose to share. Please don't send sensitive information (such as payment card numbers or passport details) through the form - I'll request anything like that securely when it's actually needed.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, limited technical and usage information is collected to help me understand how visitors find and use it. This includes the page you're on, the website that referred you, and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived through. If you reach the site from a Google ad, a Google click identifier (gclid) is stored in your browser for up to 90 days so a resulting enquiry can be attributed to that ad.

Cookies & analytics

I use Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure traffic and the effectiveness of advertising. These services use cookies and similar technologies and may set their own identifiers. The information helps me see which pages and campaigns lead to enquiries; it is not used to build a profile of you for unrelated purposes. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, manage ad personalisation in your Google account settings, and block or delete cookies through your browser.

How I use your information

I use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, prepare your rates and perks, arrange and service your booking, and communicate with you about it. Automatically collected information is used to operate and improve the site and to measure advertising. I do not sell your personal information.

Who I share it with

I share your information only as needed to provide the service:

• Hotels and partner programs - to request and confirm your reservation and arrange the associated benefits.
• Fora Travel - the host agency network I operate within, which supports booking and back-office functions.
• Service providers - including Formspree, which delivers form submissions to me, and Google, which provides analytics and advertising measurement. These providers process information on my behalf or under their own privacy terms.

I may also disclose information where required by law or to protect legal rights.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiry and booking details for as long as needed to serve you and to meet record-keeping, tax, and legal obligations, then delete or anonymise them. The Google click identifier stored in your browser expires automatically after 90 days.

Your choices & rights

You can ask me to access, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you, or to stop contacting you, at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data protection laws. To make a request, just email me using the address below.

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision; material changes will be posted on this page.
